Andy Tugwell - Managing Director
Andy has over 40 year's experience in commercial and industrial heating, commercial refrigeration and air conditioning and takes a hands-on approach in the day to day running of the company. His is often to be found on site, overseeing projects and making sure that the customer is getting the exact equipment and service that they need. Andy believes in promoting the ethos of a quality service and a deep understanding of the customer's needs throughout the company, from the top down.
Chris Tugwell - Financial Director
Chris is a qualified accountant and brings to the business a sound financial background with many years of practical and commercial experience. Qualified to NEBOSH standards, Chris also ensures compliance with all Health & Safety procedures and legislation for TSS Facilities. He believes that the secret to the success of TSS is their passion for customer service which is shared by the whole team.
Steve Tugwell - Water Treatment Director
Steve is a highly qualified water treatment expert with 20 year's experience in the industry. His department is responsible for a diverse portfolio of contracts which are managed to the highest standards to comply with legislation and TSS policies and procedures. As well as advising customers on how to maintain water hygiene, Steve is often called upon to be a speaker and presenter at water treatment seminars and training events around the country.
Steve Gray - General Manager
Steve oversees the delivery of all TSS’ mechanical services and is a customer service and health & safety champion. He has 27 years experience in mechanical engineering and has been focused on the management aspect of the industry for the last 11 years. He also has over 16 years experience in the water hygiene industry.
James Beresford-Ward - Water Treatment Manager
James joined the team in in early 2017 to help Steve Tugwell manage the expanding water department. He brings with him 13 years of water treatment experience and uses his knowledge and skills to focus on delivering quality service and develop new business. James is passionate about providing a tailored and highly professional service for each and every client.
Nicky Mepham - Service Administrator
Elaine Bushby - Water Treatment Administrator
Elaine provides administrative support to the Water Treatment Director and engineers. Her excellent communication skills and highly organised methods make her an indispensable part of the TSS water department. Elaine is the admin point of contact for water hygiene at TSS – from phone calls to customers to preparation of Legionella risk assessments and schematic drawings.
Jason Mamoany - Commercial Manager
Jason has been with TSS for the last 28 years and has successfully managed and controlled the growth of our service department whilst maintaining an excellent customer service record. He has developed and built good relationships with both clients and suppliers allowing us achieve a professional service.
Rhianna Ogle - Administration Manager
Ashton Dolan - Accounts Executive
Ashton started as Service Administrator in 2013 but always had a passion for accounts. She enrolled herself onto the AAT course at Brighton City College and has been studying finance for the past 18 months. Ashton is dynamic member of TSS and since starting in Accounts she has already added value by using her knowledge of service system and introduced new procedures to enhance our efficiency.
Peter Townsend - Project Manager
Peter has been with TSS for 12 years. He is a qualified air conditioning and refrigeration engineer with over 30 years of industry experience. He manages all our air conditioning and refrigeration projects and has successfully built a good reputation with all our clients.
Rachel Burns - Service Department Administrator
Rachel schedules maintenance for the air conditioning department and ensures gas safety checks are completed on time. She supports the team with general admin and maintains communication between both engineers and customers. Rachael has over 7 years’ experience in the financial industry, giving her the required experience and ability to fulfil her role to a high standard.
Simone Yates - Water Treatment Administrator
Simone’s customer service experience spans 20 years, making her well equipped to keep our water service customers happy. Her main tasks involve scheduling engineer visits, invoicing for water services and correctly completing Risk Assessment forms. Simone’s role in the company also includes the illustration of schematic drawings, demonstrating her broad and diverse skill set. She holds a Legionella awareness qualification.
Helena Polackova - Facilities Coordinator
Helena has nearly 12 years’ experience in the building maintenance industry with responsibility for both domestic and commercial gas and non-gas service & maintenance contracts. She is also very knowledgeable in the technical aspects of the industry, being responsible for sourcing and ordering both plumbing and boiler spare parts. Helena always strives for the highest levels of customer service, as she believes it’s the linchpin for any business.
Mark Bassett - Installation & Project Manager
With nearly 20 years’ experience as an engineer in the commercial heating and plumbing industry Mark is part of the core team who manage the larger installation works at TSS. Mark is a solution-orientated member of the team and can always be counted upon to do his utmost to accommodate and facilitate clients when they have an emergency situation.
Jay Rolf - Heating Service Manager
Originally enrolled for a plumbing & Heating apprenticeship Jay soon passed his plumbing certificate before advancing in domestic gas and commercial gas. Over the past few years Jay excelled as a commercial heating engineer being involved in various contracts and projects. After taking over the role of Heating Service Manager Jay now runs the heating department with a fantastic team of engineers and a great service team
Kieren Boulter - Refrigeration, Air con & Electrical Service Delivery Manager
Kieren has been with TSS for 10 years and started off as a level 3 apprentice. Since becoming qualified in the electrical industry he continued to broaden his skill set by becoming F-Gas certified. He also heads the compliancy for the electrical team as TSS Facilities NIC EIC QS. Being multiskilled and working across all departments of TSS Kieren works very closely with the project team helping them strive towards completion.
Steve Redfern - Health, Safety & Enviromental Manager
Steve works with all departments at TSS, producing, executing and maintaining policies and procedures to keep TSS employees safe and healthy in the work place. His work ensures we stay compliant with current legislation, regulation and directives. Steve holds NCRQ Level 6 in health & saftey, NEBOSH diploma in Occupational Health & Safety Practice and is a long standing member of IOSH, IIRSM & IIAI.
Dave Smith - Marketing & Design
Dave has over 7 years Marketing & Design experience within the electrical wholesale industry and retail industry. He covers all things Marketing for TSS from updating the website and managing all TSS Digitial Marketing activity, to developing and delivering the TSS Marketing Strategy across online and offline platforms. Dave is constantly looking for ways to expand the TSS brand reach to introduce the services we provide to a wider range of customers.
