21/06/11 Refrigeration engineers comply with F-Gas
By 4 July 2011 it will became a legal requirement for all businesses that install, maintain or service stationary refrigeration, air-conditioning and/or heat pump equipment containing or designed to contain F-Gas refrigerants to obtain an F-Gas Company Certificate.
TSS refrigeration engineers have already completed the training which allows them to handle and dispose of all refrigerant gasses safely.
Many older refrigeration and air conditioning systems run on refrigerant gasses which are not CFC friendly. When servicing these systems it is necessary to replace any displaced gas with new, more environmentally friendly gas. This process can only be completed by a trained, F-gas qualified engineer who is also responsible for completing all necessary documentation which then stays on the client's premises for inspection if necessary. An accountable audit trail takes the legal worry from the client's shoulders and gives them peace of mind that the paperwork and safe disposal of the gas has been carried out correctly by TSS engineers.
