What are air source heat pumps?
Air source heat pumps (ASHP) are energy efficient systems that use outside air to provide heating and cooling throughout your building, instead of using traditional boilers and fossil fuels.
They work best in climates with mild winters and hot summers, which is perfect for our British weather conditions (they even work in temperatures as low as -15c!).

How do air source heat pumps work?
An air source heat pump uses outside air to move heat indoors. Inside the unit, warm air is pulled out and cooled before being returned to the home. It does this by transferring heat from the air into the water circulating throughout the system. The water then heats the house or building.

Renewable Heat Incentive
The Renewable Heat Incentives Scheme (RHI) is a government scheme that provides financial incentives for people who install renewable heat systems. The RHI is currently only available in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
FGAS Registered Engineers
The installation must be carried out by an FGAS-registered engineer (all of the engineers at TSS Facilities are FGAS-registered) and the company must also be REFCOM-approved.
