In October 8 members of TSS Facilities and a client from Spencer & leigh took on the mammoth challenge of scaling 3 mountains in 24 hours, this journey would take them through 3 countries, climb 3,408 meters and drive 1,352 miles.
Why would someone take on such a challenge, they did this to support Motor Neurone Disease, The Motor Neurone Disease Association is a British charity, operating in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, established in 1979 by a group of volunteers to coordinate care, support, and research for people affected by amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, which is a form of motor neurone disease.
“The money you have raised will help us continue to provide care and support to those with Motor Neurone Disease, and enable vital research into this devastating disease to continue in the hope of realising our vision of a “World Free from MNDA”.
It is with great pride that we can say with the support of all who donated to a great cause, we raised £4,175.46, this is an amazing achievement and one which will truly benefit MNDA.
we support many charities each year and pride ourselves on our community support. Find out more about who we support here.
